Library Cards
A library card is available without charge to any Anchorage resident. Non-resident cards are available for a yearly fee of $35. Guest cards are available for a fee of $10 for 3 months. Register for a card at Loussac library or any branch.

You must complete a registration form and present valid picture identification (driver's license, military ID, state ID or US passport). For minor children under the age of 18, the parent or guardian must sign the registration application accepting responsibility for activity on their child’s account. The juvenile card will expire on the child's eighteenth birthday at which time the child can register as an adult.

You may download and print a copy of the registration form to complete before coming to the library. Please do not sign the form (wait until you present it to library staff).

You are responsible for everything checked out on your card. Report lost or stolen cards immediately by calling 343-2844.
